STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

To raise awareness of the impact of grief.

To bring cross party MPs and Members of the House of Lords together with local and national bereavement services, charities, health professionals and individuals affected by grief, to help improve bereavement care across the UK

To address the disparity in the provision of bereavement support services across the country and promote best practice.

To drive new initiatives and campaigns to raise awareness and support those grieving in the UK.
