GOOD GRIEF CARDS
National early signposting resource for the bereaved and those working with them.
Endorsed and funded by the Department of Health and Social Services.
Nadine Dorries MP - Minister for Bereavement (Non-financial) said:
“As Minister for Bereavement (Non-financial), one of my highest priorities is making sure that families and friends who have lost loved ones have access to the support they need.
I am glad that the Good Grief Trust cards will help ensure that grieving families and friends are aware of the wide range of excellent bereavement support that is available to them, if and when they need it.”
We are the UK's leading bereavement network. Our growing central database lists 900 + local, regional and national support services, helplines, videos, advice and guidance under one umbrella.
Our new 2024 condolence card includes a space for a personal message.
There is a QR code on both the outer and small removable insert - scan on a phone for quick, simple access to the website.
The durable credit card insert, can be removed and kept by the user, with website and contact details.
Our Good Grief cards are available to all front-line bereavement teams, UK health Centres, GP's, crematoria, funeral directors, schools, universities, community groups, HR departments and all those supporting the bereaved in the community.
Our cards have proved a vital resource, ensuring the bereaved receive a CHOICE of help from day one and that they know they are not alone in their grief.
Good Grief cards are used to supplement Bereavement Packs/Booklets or to replace existing resources, to ensure literature and signposting is kept up to date and is as comprehensive as possible.
In 2018 Linda Magistris CEO and Founder of The Good Grief Trust received the honour of being awarded the Points of Light Award from 10 Downing Street
Prime Minister Theresa May said: “From a devastating personal tragedy you have created a tremendous force for good. The Good Grief Trust is providing vital resources for people experiencing bereavement, offering comfort, practical support and the knowledge that they are not alone.”
Please help us to ensure that anyone bereaved, anywhere in the country is able to find our national database and access help and hope in one place. Thank you
