Our Young People’s Ambassador Katie arranged this event for us on Sunday 8th April.

Songs for Jeremy is a concert in memory of her father, Jeremy Shalka who sadly lost his battle to cancer in 2010, aged 44. The concert will be a casual cabaret style and will feature a range of West End performers and friends who have kindly given up their time to celebrate the life of Jeremy and also raise money for charity. The concert will have a running narrative through it which will also tell a bit about Jeremy’s life from beginning to end.

The concert was run by Jeremy’s daughter Katie Shalka and featured cast members from Hamilton, Les Miserables, Aladdin, 42nd Street, The Book of Mormon, and Six, as well as very talented friends from The Brit School and London School of Musical Theatre. Thank you Katie for all your hard work and for raising over £2000 for us!
