Harry’s Rainbow support children bereaved of a parent or sibling in Milton Keynes. Existing services have been adapted and additional services have been rolled out to support the bereaved during the covid pandemic.

Average 600,000 UK deaths per annum + Covid19 deaths 2020/21 – approximately 130,000 = 730,000 deaths
One person dies every minute in the UK
Every 22 minutes a parent dies, leaving 112 children left bereaved every day
The UK does not have a statutory bereavement policy for all schools
85% of young people between 20 and 24 years old who take their own life have had a bereavement *(1)
