A local Hull & East Riding of Yorkshire Community Group. It is also an associate of the UK registered charity The Rose Charitable Foundation.

Our Story
This Foundation set up by bereaved parents Antony and Brenda Lawson. Their own forget-me-not legacy in the name of their daughter Jessica Lawson aged 12. Jessica died whilst on her school trip to France on 22nd July 2015. During the years since Jessica died it is clear that no UK authority or organisation is willing to help or guide the bereft and traumatised family. No after-care plan or response from local authorities or the school. Nationally, no
assistance from The British Foreign Commonwealth Office. The complexity of a fatality abroad brings a minefield of additional heartbreak and process, policies and procedures. Any compassion or humanity forgotten. The family left to cope alone.

The Aims
Aid Be a point of contact. We signpost bereaved parents to the raft of specialised bereavement charities and trauma organisations we now know exist. Assist The Wellbeing of a bereaved parent. Be active in our grief support. The Foundation works with a network of tourism partners in the Algarve Portugal to arrange:

B’Breaks – Algarve
The holiday is planned and organised by Jessica’s Mum Brenda Lawson who with her husband Antony relocated to the Algarve in November 2017. Rest, relaxation and recharge. The positive RE words to assist you looking forward again.
