This will be an opportunity for people to come together with the intention of talking openly about death, grief and loss. In a society where these conversations can be taboo, a Death Cafe can be a liberating space where we can skip the small talk.
It’s not grief counseling or therapy but a space for open honest conversation, the chance to ask questions and an opportunity to explore ideas about life, death and our place in the universe.
We will be hosted by Central Library in Newcastle and they’re even providing tea and coffee. If you are curious and ready for an afternoon of interesting conversations, please join me.
