The Fleetwood community will be hosting a ‘Bereavement Cafe’ on Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm at The Macmillan Cancer Support Hub, in the former Fleetwood Hospital, entrance from Bold Street.
Staff and volunteers from the Swan Bereavement Team – Blackpool Teaching Hospital Trust, wellbeing organisations and community partners will be available to chat about the support on offer across the Fylde Coast to anyone approaching end-of-life or caring for somebody, and for anyone recently bereaved.
Jackie Brunton, Lead Nurse for End of Life and Bereavement Care said, “We look forward to welcoming everyone and discussing what support is available both for bereaved and those people and groups supporting loved ones through the most difficult of times.
